Properties to Rent and Buy
Chippenham Estate Agents have a variety of properties available to rent and are to be found centrally located. Some are in the old town but properties are also available in the surrounding villages such as Lacock, Yatton Keynell, East Tytherton, and Marshfield.
Rental rates vary from over £1,000 pcm for a 5 bedroomed property but equally a property with 4 bedrooms can command such a rent depending, of course, on its location and style which can be modern, newly built, or traditional both in character and design. Properties with 3 bedrooms, centrally located in Chippenham, are being offered for rent at around £600 pcm.
Apartments, some newly constructed, are available within walking distance of the town centre for rents in the region of £500 pcm for 2 bedrooms and parking. One bedroomed apartments are offered for rent in the region of £400 pcm.
There are a number of letting agents offering properties either furnished or unfurnished and Landlords will possibly be asking themselves if this is the area for the buy-to-let investor given Chippenham’s proximity to Bath, Bristol, Swindon and the Cotswolds?
For the prospective purchaser the Estate Agents in Chippenham have new build properties as well as many traditional, Georgian and Grade II Listed houses on their books for around £380,000. However, a 4/5 bedroomed property is available for the asking price of around £550,000.The first time buyer will be looking at paying between £85,000- £120,000 for a ground floor masionette, terrace or semi-detached property.
